Jeffrey aka “Jazzy Jeff” aka “The Drill”

Born from a family of creatives, I found my love in building at the ripe young age of 5. It started with erector sets and Knex inside the home, and forts built from tree limbs and thrown away scrap when outside the home. I was the neighborhood craftsman known for constructing elaborate hideouts for my friends and me to play in. In my alone time, I would sketch and draw to no end. When I was 12 I stripped a thrown-away riding lawn mower and refurbished it into my very own hot rod. It was loud and slow, but it was mine. Fast forward through my teenage years/young adult years of racing motorcycles and tweaking cars and we arrive at my 25th year when I founded Lowcountry Valet. Lowcountry Valet, a custom vintage transportation company, allowed me to fine-tune my skills and build things that I wanted to build. With each new vehicle I released, I became more and more obsessed with the quality of material, the intricacy of craftsmanship, and the love of the build. I began to understand that my love of the build was based in creating a feeling in others. That's when Silverside Design was born.

Described as “extremely difficult and hard headed” by his mother and “too smart for his own good” by his father, the one thing they could always agree on though was that when Jeffrey wanted something, nothing stopped him in the pursuit of it.
